We are from a new high school in San Francisco
known as Thurgood Marshall Academic. A softball team was given to
us in the school year of 1996-1997. This page is dedicated to the
second-year team.
Although winless in the 1998 season, the Phoenix
enjoyed the company of each other. To win the season may be a super
feeling, but to gain friendships is something that would last for a lifetime.
The team members do not fight with each other and tend to goof off during
serious practice and games. The older student athletes also help
the younger ones with academic work.
